It’s about time,
To leave for the best,
To let go off the rest,
For I never pondered the stay,
Rumi as my bey.
Its about time,
To burst the bubble,
Not to cling on and cuddle,
‘Fore the walls turn dark and dense,
Dip the zest and vista hence.
It’s about time,
To rise like the sun,
Latterly fallen at the dusk bygone,
For it’s indeed a new day,
To lead a new way.
It’s about time,
To start afresh that is,
To open the wings and take off,
Out of my own ashes,
As the phoenix I am.
âź A failed attempt in poetry. Leaving it here for anyone who’d want to know ‘How not to write a poem’. I wrote this today originally on my mind wall and later typed on a virtual notepad, when I felt like I need a self motivation for the exam coming up. Single line to describe how prepared I am for the exam, “Miles to go before I sleep, Miles to go before I sleep”. The featured image from my own gallery taken while sitting under a grandfather banyan tree. ~
