Yeah. There’s a local variety. π Sulaimani is not mere tea! It’s a whole new level thing π I’d say come to Calicut (Kerala) and taste it, but I’ve already been telling many people that same thing today itself.

As my new Avtar has found it’s stage set in this beautiful city,
I have already explored some of the best ‘Sulaimani’ places in Kozhikkode, one of them is ‘Ali Bahi’s Thattukada’ in South Beach π
This nice little post reminds me of my bachelor days in Bangalore, where, it was my duty to make sulaimani after coming back from dinner at paramount or empire…

That’s one of the best thing about Kozhikode. There is no monopoly in hotels/restaurants. Every restaurant will have a few best things about it. And yah, alibhai’s also got fried ice cream!! π

but for now it’s mom only!! And it was actually the counter part of eating too much jackfruit π π y’know, medicinal part of Sulaimani! But whenever I drink it, I act like kareemka, taking a long sip and imagining the world slowing down and stopping in front of me!! π
PS: I was joking. I’m perfectly happy as single! π

I only wish that every time someone asks me if I’m from this, that country, I could say “Yes!” I wish I could speak, read and write every language in the world! Sadly, no, I was born in France (province of Brittany) but have lived most of my life only in Canada. I have but two languages: French and English. But I have travelled much through reading, and now with the Internet, I get to meet amazing people too.

Ohh π that word means, a variety of jackfruit, on a rough translation, ‘jackfruit that taste like honey’. Not literally, but it got this heavenly taste that someone compared with honey π so what, if you’re born in a foreign country? You can visit India anytime right?? π

Actually, no, I cannot visit India! Oh? And why not? would be the standard reply. I explain: I am “in training” on earth and I have dedicated this one life to the service of one single purpose: to become a compassionate being and be an example to others by serving them. I don’t know how much of an example I have been, or am being, but I don’t think about that. I think about all the details that comprise living a compassionate life. There are many self-imposed strict rules in such a life. For example, as regards travel. One of the rules is satyagraha – as I understand it, “non violent, non-cooperation” with the “Matrix” of powers that control this world. Travelling means spending a great deal of money just for my own enjoyment when that resource can be used here to alleviate needs. Travelling also contributes to climate change/global warming and I choose to eschew such involvement as much as possible, certainly avoiding selfish use of resources. There are also rules about food – I am vegetarian because my desire is to minimize the amount of hurt or pain I am personally responsible for while living this life. My time is also important: there are people here who need me, and I am here for them. That is also part of my purpose: servanthood. I live to find a certain, fail-safe solution to man’s many serious problems, and that begins with selflessness. I practice self-empowerment – no allegiance to any group or collective, be it religious, political or financial. I may use them but I don’t give them any allegiance (or put this way, I don’t believe “in” anything or anyone). This isn’t boasting, it’s just something I chose to do to give my life meaning. But I’ll tell you this: I do travel! I’ve been back into many past lives, and I’ve gone into the future. I have travelled to places outside this universe, first in “guided tours” and then alone. I have a secret name that is a passport to travel the universe. This sounds crazy to many, but that is how I have learned to do things. For me, earth is a tiny, tiny place. I can “see” it in a few focused moments. I understand it. I know what goes on here… and it is not good. It is even sadder because all of earth man’s problems are completely avoidable. Never any need for war, for any kind of violence; diseases are unnatural. No need for predation: nothing needs to die a violent death to benefit any other: it’s all error. That’s what compassion through self-empowerment teaches, and that’s why I chose that path. We can do things with our mind and nothing can control that, or we do things with our body, and we’re under the control of the Matrix. To me that choice is no longer in question. I choose mind over the physical. Long answer to a very short question but I thought, why not tell you what I am, or consider myself to be? You might find it interesting. You might even think the concept worth investigating for yourself. This is the infinite path.

Thank you for that comment. It’s hard to put something like that in proper perspective. It’s not as difficult as one would think; it’s like getting an inspiration so powerful, it overwhelms everything else and you sort of get swept in it. It is a bit like falling in love, only much, much bigger. The wonderful thing about it is, it can ask you for your life and you will gladly, easily, give it. Yet it isn’t a brainwashing, it’s not as if you had no control, or were being pushed to do things you don’t want to do. You choose, always. Whatever you’re asked to do, you may have hesitations, but when you sleep on it you realize it’s who you are, what you’re trained to do and what you desire to do. Everything else is “less” than this calling. Sure, sometimes I get to thinking it’d be nice if more people received the same gift, but it’s always a personal thing. Me, no one else. If it happened to you, it would be you, no one else. No one else can go there but you. Always One. So, there’s less confusion that way, and you’re not dragging other people down with you if you go down. If it happens to you (and I think that it must happen to more and more people very soon… or things could get really ugly here) then you’ll know, and you may remember this: “it” whatever it is, never demands more of you than you are capable, or willing, to give. If you know the Star Wars stories, then think of the Force. It has a dark side and a light side. Compassion, service, self-sacrifice… that’s the light side. One difference with the Star Wars stories: in the world I live in, we never engage in violence or killing. It is never necessary because we are of the eternals. Death is another experience, and the source of a new beginning-always. To engage in killing would be to commit suicide; the death of the spirit. I’ll leave it at that, unless you have questions.

I drank Sulaimani from Dhe puttu! I liked it. Not sure if it’s the same as from Kozhikode π

U had it from kochi dhe puttu? Must be similar. We put so many things in the tea π sometimes I put biriyani masala(homemade masala made by powdering so many things to add taste and fragrance to biryani) in black tea π usually when mom is not around.
